Continuing Medical Education and Quality Training

Washington Hospital Center has a long standing tradition of excellence in patient care, medical education and research. We recognize the importance of medical education as an integral component of the provision of quality health care and that physicians require continuous learning throughout their careers. In support of this principle, Washington Hospital Center has designed a CME program and a web site environment that meets the needs of physicians and other health care professionals locally, regionally and nationally.

We hope that this website will give you better insight into Washington Hospital Center's CME program, accreditation requirements set forth by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the policies and procedures of the Office of CME regarding the planning and implementation of CME activities.
