Plans and performs analysis of hospital operations to perform detailed studies in areas of cost accounting, cost control, product lines and services. This position reports to the Director Financial Planning and works closely with the AVP Finance.  The ideal candidate will have at least four years of progressively more responsible experience including using data systems, as well as spreadsheet, work processing, and data base applications.  Strong knowledge of person computer spreadsheets (Excel) and database management is required.  Experience in collecting and analyzing healthcare data (cost accountin, budget, decision support, productivity, etc.), including financial and management analysis leading to quality improvement, is preferred.  Educational requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Management Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Accouting.
