As a part of the largest integrated health care delivery system in the U.S. Capital Area, we are honored to care for the many international patients who live in the United States or who travel to the U.S. for health care. You can depend on Washington Hospital Center's International Services Department to provide you with any assistance you may need. Our staff:

• arranges for second opinions by appropriate medical experts (at no charge).
• schedules your physician appointments, tests and procedures.
• arranges for executive and general physicals.
• registers patients or escorts patients through registration.
• provides complimentary language interpreters and patient escorts from the time of initial contact through treatment, recovery, and follow-up after the patient has left the hospital.
• makes reservations for the Hospital Center's deluxe hospital suites in The Pavilion.
• provides concierge services to coordinate travel (such as changing planetickets, medical transport, limousine service), lodging (specially priced guest accommodations on the hospital campus or in area hotels), and other services upon request.
• coordinates with patients' details when accompanied by an entourage.
• arranges for private security details upon request.
• provides complimentary transportation to and from area airports.

International groups and delegations are welcome to visit our medical campus for private tours, physician lectures and complimentary luncheons. Physician education and consultation opportunities also are available.
