Your Health Care Team

There are several key people on your health care team who will play a roll in assuring your recovery.

The head nurse coordinates your nursing care-feel free to address concerns with him or her at any time during your hospital stay. Head nurses are assisted by a number of clinical managers who also will address any issues you may have.

Many other individuals will also play a role in assuring your recovery. Make a point of asking staff members about their jobs - their functions usually are quite specialized, and knowing what each person does can help you stay informed.

Remember, you are the most important member of your health care team.
