Jacquelyn Bell-Benton, BSN, CBE, IBLC, became a Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2000. With over 20 years of combined maternal infant health experience from postpartum to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, she values the importance of breastfeeding. Jackie's philosophy is that breastfeeding has to be individualized and constructed for the unique behaviors of each mother/baby couplet.

Sharon McDuffie, BSN, RN, CCE, CLC, after 21 years of medical surgical nursing, OB/GYN and labor/delivery nursing Sharon continues to enjoy her profession. Currently, she is a Nurse Educator for MedStar Washington Hospital Center’s Family Birthplace, holding certifications in childbirth education and lactation counseling. Sharon says, “I love educating our parents about their amazing journey into labor and delivery.”
