Women's and Infants' Services at Washington Hospital Center takes pride in its reputation as a center of excellence for high-risk maternal/fetal medicine, breast cancer, gynecologic cancer, continence and pelvic-floor dysfunction, and heart disease. We offer superior nursing care, in state-of-the art labor and delivery rooms and surgical suites. Our experienced team of neonatologists provides 24-hour coverage in a Level III neonatal intensive care unit.
Women's and Infants' Services is dedicated to advancing health care through ongoing participation in the latest research on female health issues. We also offer comprehensive educational seminars, to provide valuable information about parenting and conditions that affect women across their life spans. Women's and Infants' Services is also proud of its community-service initiatives, which link the Hospital Center with local underserved communities to ensure access to superior ob/gyn care.
