Each year, the generosity of friends of MedStar Washington Hospital Center is recognized through displays throughout the hospital, in hospital publication and during special events.

Cumulative Giving Levels

• Diamond $1 million and above
• Emerald $500,000 - $999,999
• Sapphire $250,000 - $499,999
• Ruby $100,000 - $249,999
• Garnet $50,000 - $ 99,999
• Gold Circle $10,000 and up
• Silver Circle $5,000 - $9,999
• Bronze Circle $2,500 - $4,999
• Brass Circle $1,000 - $2,499
• Cornerstone Society $150 - $999

Center Society

The Center Society is a core group whose commitment to excellence and continued philanthropy have strengthened health care in our community. Center Society membership is achieved with an annual gift of at least $1,000. Center Society members are invited to an annual reception and a variety of Hospital Center events throughout the year.

Millard E. Tydings Legacy Trust

The Millard E. Tydings Legacy Trust recognizes individuals who have arranged for future philanthropic support of MedStar Washington Hospital Center and its mission of service through a provision in their estate plans.

Home Team

The Home Team is a group of dedicated staff members at the Hospital Center . In these challenging times for health care providers, the Home Team represents a tremendous vote of confidence by those who know the hospital best - its employees!

Herbert E. Gordon Council

The Herbert E. Gordon Council gives special recognition to the hospital's most generous and dedicated individual, foundation, and corporate benefactors. Herbert E. Gordon Council membership is achieved with cumulative gifts totaling at least $50,000. The generous commitment of the Herbert E. Gordon Council members to excellence in health care will keep the Hospital Center on the cutting edge of medical research and patient care well into the next millennium.
