
Sara Parker, MD, is a staff physician with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. She sees patients at Unity Health Care's community clinics, providing valuable obstetric and gynecological services to medically-underserved women in the District of Columbia.
Dr. Parker is also currently the Site Investigator at MedStar Washington Hospital Center for the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials (IMPAACT), supervising multiple clinical trials investigating HIV transmission and prevention in pregnant women.
Additional Training, Education and Research
Dr. Parker received a BA in East Asian studies from Wesleyan University in 1996, and her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2003. She completed her residency training at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2007.

Dr. Parker is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
