In 1991, National Doctors’ Day became an official day of recognition through a presidential decree that named March 30th each year to remember the courage, compassion and sacrifice of our nation’s physicians. Celebrating National Doctors’ Day with a gift to Washington Hospital Center Foundation in honor of a physician(s) is a wonderful way to pay tribute to that individual, while helping us ensure that we can continue providing expert healthcare, close to home.
This year, in recognition of National Doctors' Day, the Foundation invites individuals to make a gift in honor of the exceptional, patient first care that they receive from their physicians at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
