
John Lynch, DO, MPH, is a Staff Clinician in the Section on Stroke Diagnostics and Therapeutics at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), NIH.
Dr. Lynch received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed a residency in neurology at Northwestern University, and a fellowship in cerebrovascular disease (stroke) and a master’s in public health from Yale University. Prior to joining the Section on Stroke Diagnostics and Therapeutics, Dr. Lynch was a senior staff fellow in the neuroepidemiology branch and a program director in the Office of Minority Health and Research at NINDS.
Dr. Lynch has authored numerous reports and reviews on stroke and serves on the Speakers Bureau at the NIH. Dr. Lynch has served as a clinical investigator on a number of stroke studies and his research interests include stroke in women and children and neuroepidemiology.
