The Section of Pediatric and Adolescent Obstetrics and Gynecology provides services at several locations.

Washington Hospital Center
Pediatric and adolescent services at Washington Hospital Center are provided through the adolescent gynecology clinics. To schedule an appointment, please call 202-877-7101.

Unity Health Care, Inc.
Pediatric and adolescent services are provided at the Upper Cardozo Health Center in the Ob/Gyn clinics. Also, Dr. Gomez-Lobo is available for pediatric consultations.

Patients needing pediatric or adolescent Ob/Gyn care with DC Alliance insurance, or who are uninsured can access care at this site. The center offers a full range of services, including pediatric gynecology and adolescent obstetrics and gynecology.

Children's National Medical Center
Pediatric and adolescent gynecology services are provided in the surgery clinic, as consultation in the emergency room and inpatient wards, and in the operating room. The pediatric gynecologist works closely with specialists from pediatric surgery, pediatric urology, adolescent medicine, pediatric endocrine, pediatric hematology oncology and the Freddie Mac Foundation Child & Adolescent Protection services.

Pediatric and adolescent services include diagnosis and treatment of the following:

  • Pediatric vulvovaginitis
  • Pre-pubertal vaginal bleeding
  • Evaluation for foreign object
  • Vulvar lesions
  • Abnormal puberty
  • Turner's syndrome

Georgetown University
Pediatric and adolescent gynecology services are provided in the Pasquerilla Health Care Center's Pediatrics Department. At this location, girls and adolescents have access to routine gynecologic care, as well as care for a full range of pediatric gynecological conditions.
