Research

The Surgical Critical Care service has a long history of involvement in clinical studies. With our large patient census, we are able to generate statistically significant data quickly for single center studies. We participate in large multi-center studies such as ARDS-NET and Project IMPACT. We have been able to replicate and validate or refute smaller studies in the post-cardiac surgery realm quickly.
