	Cardiac Catheterization Lab Our Catheterization Lab is the busiest in the region, and one of the highest-volume labs in the United States. With 11 procedure rooms featuring the latest digital imaging equipment, patients receive the most technologically advanced diagnostic tests and treatments. They include angioplasty, stents, lasers, Optimal Coherence Tomography (OCT) intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), brachytherapy, angiogenesis and gene therapy. You will get the best in cardiac diagnostic or therapeutic care in our cath lab.
	Cardiac Imaging Center The heart is a complex organ to image, as it is constantly beating and moving. Our physicians who specialize in cardiac imaging have advanced their field, by working on better devices to capture the highest resolution mages possible to pass on to the treating physician. This technology is one of the many benefits of the MedStar Heart Institute patient experience.
