Your First Visit

Welcome to the MedStar Women's Specialty Center. We want your first visit with us to be as pleasant as possible. If would like to schedule an appointment, please schedule an appointment online, or call 301-280-4140.

Once your visit is scheduled, you must complete the required health information. We can mail you a copy.

Additionally, please bring the items listed below with you to your first visit.

• Information to bring:
  • Health insurance cards
  • Picture identification (I.D.)
  • Your written referral, if required by insurance
  • A complete list of all medications you are currently taking
  • Your pharmacy name and telephone number
  • Your referring physician's name and contact information (mandatory)
• Hospital operative reports and discharge summaries if you had prior surgery related to your visit

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

If you cannot keep your appointment, please call our office at 301-280-4140, at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. If we do not hear from you, we charge a $25 "no-show" fee.
