Dr. Ravi Agarwal DDS

Dr. Agarwal is the assistant program director in the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and an attending surgeon at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. His clinical and research interested are focused on corrective jaw surgery, surgical orthodontics, treatment of facial trauma with correction of post-traumatic deformities, bone reconstruction, and dental implants. Dr. Agarwal also provides his clinical services at Children's National Medical Center (CNMC) here in Washington DC.

Dr. Agarwal obtained his doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree from the University of North Carolina. He completed his extensive oral and maxillofacial surgical residency at MedStar Washington hospital Center, which included clinical rotations at Children's National Medical Center and Johns Hopkins University. He joined the department as a surgeon in 2012.

Dr. Agarwal authored multiple book chapters relating to dental implants, bone grafting, and outpatient anesthesia. He has also presented research abstractions both nationally and internationally.
