Our lab is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment and medical technologies, so you will always be on the cutting-edge of current industry practices.
Serving the region as core laboratory for HIV testing and infectious disease, the Hospital Center utilizes an HIV 1 Genotype testing using a Trugene platform, as well as HIV 1 viral load testing using Roche TAKMAN.
The Hospital Center also operates with a real time PCR Light Cycler to test for CMV, Factor V Leiden, Prothrombin Mutation, and Methylenetetrahydrofolatereductase (MTHFR). Another technological differentiator we employ is HPV high risk testing. All of these advances insure the hospital's commitment to success.
We believe in providing our employees with numerous opportunities to develop and grow in their careers and in their lives. That's why we offer a Pathology Residency Program, and our own School of Clinical Laboratory Sciences and Medical Technology, which offers four-year degrees in biology, chemistry and physics. Classes are held on a monthly basis, but every day will be a learning experience, as you participate in hands-on activities that will teach you all there is to know about your chosen field.
