Nephrology
The section of nephrology offers consultation and management of patients with acute or chronic renal disease, fluid and electrolyte disorders and hypertension and also specializes in the pre-operative evaluation and post-operative management of patients receiving kidney transplants. Inpatient and outpatient dialysis, a program that promotes self-dialysis (continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis), alternative renal replacement therapies such as continuous arteriovenous hemofiltration (CAVH), and hemoperfusion or hemodialysis for removal of toxic overdoses are all available.Section Director: Jack Moore Jr., MD
