Your Health Care Team

There are several key people on your health care team who will play a roll in assuring your recovery.

The head nurse coordinates your nursing care—feel free to address concerns with him or her at any time during your hospital stay. Head nurses are assisted by a number of clinical managers who also will address any issues you may have.

Many other individuals will also play a role in assuring your recovery. Make a point of asking staff members about their jobs - their functions usually are quite specialized, and knowing what each person does can help you stay informed.

Remember, you are the most important member of your health care team.
