Services:

Physician Imaging of MedStar Washington Hospital Center, LLC, brings convenient, state-of-the art imaging to the community. A joint venture between Center Radiology, PC, and MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Physician Imaging offers high tech imaging services in MRI, CT, ultrasound and general radiology. Center Radiology, PC, is an independent contractor professional corporation comprised of twenty-three subspecialty and fellowship- trained radiologists who staff MedStar Washington Hospital Center’s Department of Radiology.

All studies are captured digitally (sometimes referred to as “filmless radiology”) enabling Physician Imaging radiologists to take advantage of the expertise of subspecialty trained radiologists located at the hospital. When a patient consult is needed, both radiologists can view the same series of images simultaneously, discuss findings and provide a definitive report to the requesting physician. When needed, this provides an immediate second opinion using the expertise of the full Center Radiology group. All images are available in the PACS system and viewable by physicians in Amalga (Azyxxi).
