Scheduling/ Fees

Scheduling a training course or conference at the MOST Laboratory is very easy. 
The MOST Lab will be made available by rental agreement to interested parties for seminars and workshops. This agreement will give the renter use of the:

• teaching area
• four (4) fully stocked surgical stations
• storage usage, computer access
• audio-visual equipment

A renter may be able to reserve the use of:

• Conference rooms
• Office space
• Other resources throughout the Washington Hospital Center campus

Use of these additional facilities will be adapted into the rental agreement and will create additional rental charges.

Rental Charges
Any interested party will be required to sign an agreement, securing rental of the facility for up to three (3) days.  In addition to the basic rental fee for the facility, the renter will be charged per specimen used, at a predetermined price.  Additional rental charges may be incurred for the use of other rooms or space within Washington Hospital Center, extra audio-visual equipment used and supplies and protective wear used during the rental period.  The renter will also be invoiced for necessary repairs to damage to the facility as well as disposal, laundry, extra help, etc.

Costs
The cost to participants for a half-day to three-quarter-day course ranges from $500 to $3,000 in training centers similar to the MOST Lab. (For a four (4) station lab, the laboratory could expect to enroll 4-12 participants per course, depending upon the actual lab setup and complexity of the training session. This would generate up to $36,000 per course to offset the operational costs.

Meals
Breakfast and or lunch are provided at these sessions, depending upon the course duration and time of day.
