Cardiovascular imaging is a critical part of diagnosing and treating many forms of cardiovascular disease. Physicians now study the structures of the heart in three dimensions, giving them accurate real-time information, which they use to develop a treatment plan for you.
Cardiac imaging gives physicians detailed pictures of the heart as it beats, including:
- Blood flow
- Structures of the heart
- The ability to identify problems without having to do surgery
Our physicians are experts at reading heart-imaging tests
MedStar Heart Institute has one of the most advanced imaging programs in the region, including state-of-the-art equipment and expert staff to interpret these complex tests.
We offer:
- Echocardiography
