Nerve Blocks
Nerve blocks are pain medication injected directly into the spine or joints to block pain signals. Nerve blocks are usually given under general anesthesia. These procedures are performed on an outpatient basis. Most patients resume regular activities the next day, and feel the healing effects of the nerve block within the first several days.
Lee Ann Rhodes, MD, will arrange for you to have a nerve block if she believes it will help with your pain.
