The Section of Pediatric and Adolescent Obstetrics and Gynecology is dedicated to providing quality reproductive health care to children and women from birth to age 21. Our staff also participates in research to improve outcomes and advance care for this population, as well as educates other physicians interested in this field.
Services are provided at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Unity Health Care Clinics, Children's National Medical Center and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

May 7, 2012 - Lauren Damle, MD, fellow, Obstetrics & Gynecology, was quoted in Family Practice News about a study that found compliance with postpartum visits and long-acting reversible contraception reduced repeat teen pregnancies.
December 7, 2010 - The Washington Post interviewed Veronica Gomez-Lobo, MD, director, pediatrics and adolescent gynecology, in a John Kelley column about a recent surgery performed on an adolescent patient who's now back on her feet and dancing again. Dr. Gomez-Lobo splits her time with Children's National Medical Center.
